Regional Rehabilitation Center

Since 1980, Salem Hospital has provided rehabilitation-medicine services in our state-of-the-art, 63,000 foot Regional Rehabilitation Center.

Because we recognize that people often experience a sense of fear and anxiety while recovering from an injury or illness, we focus on the whole person, not just physical recovery.

Our inpatient unit is designed for comprehensive therapies and support following a hospital stay for stroke, head injury, trauma or other complex medical diagnoses.

A team of physiatrists, physicians who specialize in rehabilitative medicine, support this program.

We also offer a full spectrum of therapy and services for outpatient therapies, including specialties in neurological, orthopedic, sports medicine, hand therapy and cardiac rehabilitation.

We have a beautiful central location for many of our services and some also located on the main campus of the hospital.

Many of our programs also sponsor or participate in community events to contribute to the health and well being of the many people we serve.
