Visitor Food Services
There are pantries for family use on the 3rd and 4th floor of the Family
Birth Center. These kitchens are stocked with coffee, beverages, and light
snacks. These rooms are also equipped with an ice machine, a microwave,
and a refrigerator.
Cascade Cafe is located on the 2nd floor of the Family Birth Center. It serves
a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items for families and guests. There
are also vending machines and an ATM located in this area for your convenience.
Each family is given a hospital eateries gift card worth $10 of food and beverages that can be used at any of the hospital locations, including the cafes and espresso bars.
Visitor Hours
Visitor hours are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Significant others, siblings,
grandparents, and clergy may visit mom at any time.
Lobbies
The 1st floor lobby leads to Conference Rooms East and West used for childbirth classes. The 3rd and 4th floor lobbies are for visitors and family to wait if they are not in the room with the mother. The 3rd floor lobby has a pay phone and TDD service for the hearing impaired.
Computer Access
All patient rooms are wired for wireless Internet access. Bring your own
laptop with a wireless network interface card (NIC).
Express Yourself Espresso, Food, & Gift Shop
Located on the first floor of the main hospital
lobby. The Espresso shop features a wide variety of gifts including baby items,
children's toys, chocolates, fresh flowers, magazines, greeting
cards, balloons,
teddy bears, and great beverages.
Smoking
Because we care about your health and the health of others, smoking is
not allowed at Salem Hospital. Talk to your caregiver about help to quit smoking.
Out-of-Town Visitors
Accommodations for relatives and visitors from out-of-town
are available at nearby hotels and motels.
