| Josephone Von Herzen, M.D. |
After finishing medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Von Herzen completed her residency with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University Affiliated Hospitals.
Prior to joining Salem Hospital as the OB Medical Director, she practiced OB/GYN in San Diego, California.
Dr. Von Herzen has held numerous leadership roles at Scripps-Mercy Hospital in San Diego, as well as with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. After raising three sons, she new spends her free time riding her bicycle, playing gold and tennis. |
| John Hannig, M.D. |
Once Dr. Hannig finished medical school at the University of Minnesota, he completed his residence at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California.
Prior to joining Salem Hospital, Dr. Hannig was the medical director of Obstetrics at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, California.
During his career, he has received many awards, most notably, physician of the year in 1997 by the California Nurse Midwives Association.
Dr. Hannig loves to golf. He and his wife Nancy enjoy traveling, good movies and great restaurants. |
| Charles McGee, M.D. |
Dr. McGee received his medical degrees from the University of North Dakota and the University of Rochester Schools of Medicine before returning to his hometown, Salem Oregon.
He completed his specialty training in OB-GYN at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Prior to joining Salem Hospital, Dr. McGee was in private practice.
He is a member of the Salem Concert Band. He and his wife Kathy have two daughters and a grandson. |
| Judy Marvin, M.D. |
Dr. Marvin received her medical degree and completed her residence at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Marvin was previously in private practice in Spokane, Washington. Before returning to medical school, Dr. Marvin worked as a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery, ICU and the recovery room.
In her free time, Dr. Marvin enjoys running and being with her two children. |
| William F. Cely, M.D. |
After Dr. Cely finished medical school at the University of Utah, he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency with the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Prior to joining Salem Hospital, Dr. Cely practiced at Pacific Women’s Health Group in Newport, Oregon. Each year Dr. Cely goes on an international medical mission.
He is a volunteer fireman with the Seal Rock Fire department. Dr. Cely has three children and enjoys computer programming. |
