A commitment to our community
According to the National Cancer Institute, when breast cancer is found early and is still localized, the relative survival rate at five years is 97 percent. We recognize that breast cancer rates are increasing — one in seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her lifetime. That is why at Salem Hospital Breast Care Center we are dedicated to the education of and outreach to our community in order to increase awareness of breast health issues, encourage women to practice preventive care and lower the incidence of cancer.
