The Peer Navigator Program The Salem Hospital Breast Care Center Peer Navigator Program provides support and guidance to our cancer patients through one-on-one counseling with women who have been through it all — the Navigators. The Navigators are breast cancer survivors who help patients navigate through the breast cancer experience in an empowered, positive environment. The peer navigator program is made possible in part from a generous grant provided by The Oregon and SW Washinton affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation which is dedicated to the on-going battle to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease and to assist women enduring this fight. |
