The Peer Navigator Program The Salem Cancer Institute Peer Navigator Program provides support and guidance to our cancer patients through one-on-one counseling with those who have been through it all — the Navigators. The Navigators are cancer survivors who help patients navigate through the cancer experience in an empowered, positive environment. We match Navigators with cancer patients as closely as possible by looking at similar diagnosis and treatment plan. The Navigators are our “real” experts that truly understand what you and your family may be going through — they are here throughout your journey to support you.
