- Board certified within 5 years of employment
- Non-restricted Oregon medical license

| Job Responsibilities |
- Inpatient/Outpatient
- Consult/liaison
- Call 1:6
|
| Job Duties |
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose and follow up to 10 inpatients regularly (volume to depend on other responsibilities)
- Participate in treatment planning with interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families regarding symptoms and treatment
- Provide consultation to Salem Hospital inpatients and the ED
- Evaluate and recommend treatment in outpatients as requested
- Attend educational and organizational meetings as appropriate
- Provide call coverage to ED and inpatient unit
- Provide support to physicians providing weekend coverage
- Educate medical staff, hospital staff, community and public regarding psychiatric assessment, treatment and related issues.
