This department offers the Open Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass as an option for weight loss surgery for selected patients.

Scope of Patient Care 
Patients are carefully screened by a multi-disciplinary team including a physician, registered nurse, dietitian and psychiatrist/psychologist.  Once approved for surgery, the patient will be followed by the team for the remainder of their life to provide support and continuing care.
