The Finance department includes the general ledger, payroll, budgeting, cost reporting, and management reporting and other financial analysis.
Scope of Patient Care
Patient care service is indirect, as the department’s services are provided primarily to hospital staff, management and administration, and the Board of Trustees.
Department Duties
- Compensate the staff needed to provide patient care.
- Assist supervisors, managers and administrators in making informed decisions as they attempt to provide efficient and effective patient care.
- Provide financial data necessary to measure the effectiveness of policies and service decisions.
- Provide board members with information in order to create, evaluate, and change hospital objectives to better serve its mission to the community.
