This department provides effective and efficient programs to keep all of Salem Hospital facilities and equipment in first-rate condition as well as, construct and renovate existing facilities to meet the hospital’s needs and align with the organization’s strategic plan.

Department Duties
- Department Sections:
- Environment Services: Responsible for providing and maintaining a clean and attractive environment for all patients, visitors, medical staff, and support staff.
- Laundry Services: Responsible for providing cleaning and distribution of linen; high standards of excellence in the quality of product supplied; provide an adequate level of inventory to all patient care areas; deliver required level of inventory according to established schedules; maintain inventory control.
- Nutrition Services: Provide patients with attractive, nutritious, high-quality meals within the limits of diet prescriptions, operational and budgetary realities.
