Scope of Patient Care
The HR Department supports the hospital staff that provides patient care.
Department Duties
- Posts and advertises approved position replacements.
- Conducts initial candidate screening.
- Verifies licensures and references.
- Coordinates the scheduling of pre-employment health assessments and drug screens.
- Process changes to Employee Records and Change Notice Forms.
- Maintains the personnel files and records for each employee.
- Advises managers and administrators regarding need for and status of evaluations due.
- Consult with departmental managers in handling unusual personnel issues.
- Facilitates New Employee General Orientation monthly.
