This department provides diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to hospital inpatients and outpatients under the direction of its trained staff. 

Scope of Patient Care
         
Department Duties
Major clinical functions include:

• Routine, portable, and invasive diagnostic procedures
• Fluoroscopy (fixed and mobile)
• Myelography
• Arthrography
• Tomography
• Peripheral, cerebral, and cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional angiography
• Electrophysiology lab for arrhythmia evaluation and ablation, pacemaker and implanted cardiac defibrillator insertion, Atrial septal defect closures
• Diagnostic needle placements
• Biopsies
• Computerized tomography and CT angiography
• Diagnostic ultrasound
• Diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET/CT; magnetic resonance; mammography
• Record keeping
• Results reporting
• Breast Care Center
