Scope of Patient Care
Nutrition Services provides daily patient meal trays and nourishments, along with full spectrum of nutritional evaluation, intervention, and support.
Department Duties
- Provide nutrition counseling and education for patients including family and/or care providers.
- Provide consultation, education, and specific topic presentations to hospital staff, medical staff, and community residents.

Educational/Skill Requirements
- Registered Dietitians are licensed by the State of Oregon, and are graduates of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved baccalaureate program.
- Dietetic Technicians are graduates of an associate degree ADA approved program.
- Nutritional staff is trained on site by the clinical staff.
