There are many nontraditional programs advertised that seem like a great opportunity. When thinking about investing time and money into a program, there are a number of things to consider:
- Is the program accredited? By the board?
- What have you heard about the quality of the program?
For programs requiring clinical experience, Salem & West Valley Hospitals have contracts with certain programs as a clinical facility. Most all of these programs are traditional in-state programs. There is a limited number of clinical space availability, therefore it is encouraged that you check with the Health Careers Specialist on the program you are interested in, especially if it is a non-traditional and/or out-of-state program. |
