With Captopril
You will be given 25 mg of Captopril and your blood pressure will be monitored for about 1 hour. During this time you will also need to drink about 2 glasses of water.
You will be able to empty your bladder as often as you need to. After an hour, a technologist will place an intravenous (IV) line in your arm and we will have you lie flat on our scanning bed while our imaging camera is positioned under you.
The radiopharmaceutical reagent will be given through your IV line and images will be acquired for about 25 minutes. |
