X-ray

Radiography, known by most as x-ray, allow for painless images of your bones, teeth, and internal organs. 

Salem Hospital provides a full spectrum of general radiography services from routine to those needing emergent attention, such as trauma and emergency department procedures. 

Often times, your x-ray may reveal something which requires a more in-depth examination using a different technology like an MRI or CT scan.

One great advantage for our patients is the fact that Salem Hospital has all major diagnostic imaging equipment readily available. We will collaborate with your physician to get you the most appropriate technology required for the most accurate diagnosis.

Location and Hours
The Salem Hospital X-ray department is located within Imaging Services on the first floor of the hospital (665 Winter Street SE).

We also offer comprehensive mobile coverage throughout the organization to our Emergency Services, Urgent Care Center, and our Family Birth Center. 

For your convenience, walk-in appointments are available for basic x-ray images without a scheduled appointment time daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the hospital.

The Center for Outpatient Medicine also has a full service x-ray department for ease of access before or after physician appointments with decreased wait times. 

The Center for Outpatient Medicine X-Ray department is located at 875 Oak Street on the 2nd floor Monday - Saturday with appointments and walk-in times from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
