Salem Hospital Regional Laboratory offers complete reference laboratory services. Quality and accuracy are assured through a comprehensive quality control program.

The laboratory participates in testing and inspection programs accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Additionally the Blood Bank is accredited through the American Association of Blood Banks and registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Salem Hospital is accredited through Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The laboratory is licensed through the State of Oregon Health Division with CLIA certification.
