Your hospital.
When we reworked the Messenger
publication four years ago, we did
it with a specific intent: To help you become
a better informed and more confident
healthcare consumer.
Our goal has been to provide you with informative and timely healthcare articles about issues that affect you, your family and your friends—and this issue is no exception. In it, you will find out about instilling lifelong activity habits in your children, tips on managing arthritis pain, what sleep apnea is and how to treat it, what can be done when you feel off balance or dizzy, how robotic surgery helps patients and much more.
As we plan for future editions, we would like your feedback. A readership survey was included with a random sampling of this Messenger. If you received one, we would greatly appreciate if you would take a moment to fill it out. Each completed survey that is returned will be entered into a drawing for various prizes.
In the near future, we will open our Community Health Education Center, where you will be able to talk with staff who are trained in the research-based details you need. See the story on Page 11 to learn a bit more about the CHEC. We hope these two resources will be your most valued tools for information.
