Sweet Moms

Salem Hospital's Sweet Moms program is an educational program for women with diabetes during pregnancy.

This program teaches you how to safely manage your diabetes during your pregnancy and includes appointments with a diabetes nurse educator and dietitian.

You will be offered follow-up appointments with staff as needed throughout your pregnancy.

After your baby is born, you may be interested in an individual appointment with a dietitian to learn how you can reduce your risk of diabetes in the future, how to lose any extra weight you gained during pregnancy, and how to maintain healthy lifestyle habits.
