Visiting

Parents are encouraged to be with their children at any time.  If you’d like to sleep in your child’s room, we can provide a chair bed.

A parent lounge is also available, but between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., the lounge is for sleeping.  Since the room is small, please limit the number of people staying overnight.

If you’d like to shower, facilities are provided for parents.  Since most parents can’t be at the hospital 24 hours a day, we want you to feel comfortable asking as many questions as you like, and calling the unit anytime to check on your child.

Visiting hours for the public are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

When having a visitor keep the following suggestions in mind:

  • Sick children need a lot of rest, so visitors may need to keep their stay short
  • Visitors should be healthy and free from flus, colds or infections
  • Visitors under 12 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
