Cardiac Rehabilitation

Outpatient services are provided by nurses, exercise specialists and dietitians for patients with coronary artery disease.

Clinical diagnoses referred include:

• Congestive heart failure
• Coronary artery bypass surgery or valvular surgery
• Heart attack
• Procedures such as angioplasty or coronary stent placement

Cardiac rehabilitation is a monitored exercise and educational program that assists individuals in making the necessary lifestyle changes for a healthy heart, and, to develop a safe and effective home exercise program.

Additional services include: mental health counseling, psychiatry, nutritional counseling and vocational rehabilitation. Accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
