Bariatric surgery - Post surgery

You will be scheduled for your first follow up office visit one week after your discharge from the hospital.

If at any time after you leave the hospital you have concerns, it is absolutely necessary you contact the Salem Hospital Bariatric Surgery Center immediately at 503-561-5286.

Do not wait until your next scheduled appointment to report complications or trouble you are experiencing related to your surgery.  

Frequent visits with your surgeon and dietitian will be scheduled the first year after surgery.
