Application for Career Guidance and/or Job Shadow

Now that you have gotten started in your career search, you can schedule a meeting with the internal Health Careers Specialist to discuss next steps, whether it be career guidance and/or a potential job shadow.

To schedule this meeting, you will need to complete the online Career Path Assistance Application.

In this Application you will be asked to provide: basic contact information; your three top choices of service areas you identified in your virtual tours or through your own search; your times of availability; career goals and expectations of this experience.

Once the application is submitted it will be reviewed by the Health Careers Specialist. You will be contacted within one week to schedule your visit with the Health Career Specialist to discuss career goals and next steps.

Job Shadow Option

If you are interested in pursuing a job shadow, you will need to go to this section and then discuss this option with the Health Careers Specialist.

To be eligible for participation in the job shadow, you must successfully complete the application process, not have a final written warning within the last 6 months, and your manager must approve the time you spend participating in the job shadow.
