Be a Volunteer

This is an ongoing experience allowing non-student adults to volunteer in the hospital and serve their community.

You should apply for this experience if you:

• Are in or around the Salem, Oregon area
• Are at least 18 years old
• Have completed school and are no longer a student
• Want to volunteer in the hospital
• Are service-oriented and talented, with a desire to give back to your community
• Are willing to commit to at least 6 months of volunteer service
• Can commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours of volunteering one day a week
• Can pass a criminal background check

If you meet the above criteria, then print off the form packet, and choose an application option - either complete an online form, or print off a hardcopy application to complete by hand.

All applications will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. Application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Be sure you apply for the correct experience! You will be asked to re-apply if the correct application is not used the first time.
