Welcome to our new Imaging Center

Our goal is to give you very good care during your stay at Salem Hospital. On behalf of your care team in Imaging Services, I welcome you.

We hope that your stay is short and as pleasant of an experience as possible. If there is something we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know!

There are a variety of care units at Salem Hospital. You’re in the Imaging Services Department. 

We focus on providing state of the art imaging procedures that assist your doctor in obtaining the best information possible for use in evaluating your care and treatment.

Because we are a hospital, we have staff and technology to evaluate patients in a comprehensive manner incorporating many teams of providers.

In a hospital setting, there are occasionally emergencies that arise that could possibly delay your appointment.  It is our expectation that you should not have to wait more than 5 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. 

Our commitment is to keep you informed of anything that may contribute to an unexpected delay. 

All of our imaging procedures are performed by a licensed technologist under the direction of a board certified radiologist. 

We have a team of 85 licensed technolgists, many of which hold advanced certifications and licensure.  Our team will obtain images during your procedure which will be reviewed by the radiologist at the end of your visit. 

The report from these images will be sent to your Doctor within two business days.

At any time if you have questions, please ask one of your caregivers. I am also available to help in your healing process and look forward to helping give you the quality care you expect from Salem Hospital.
