Multi-D (multidisciplinary)

If you find yourself in constant pain and are tired of repeat visits to varied medical personnel to try and solve the problem, try no more. Let them come to you.

With a Multi-D referral from your primary care physician, you can make an appointment at the Comprehensive Pain Center and see four pain specialists in one day. 

These specialists include a pain management physician, a physiatrist, a physical therapist and a psychologist.

After your same-day appointments, you can stay if you desire and discuss the perspectives of each specialist as the team makes recommendations on your treatment path.

With the Multi-D service, you will receive a thorough assessment of your pain issue. Different specialists hone in on different things so what may stand out for one, may be different for another.

Coming together with you to resolve conflicts and develop strategies for managing your pain is very productive.

While complex pain is rarely "cured," the team through varied medication management, pain interventions, rehabilitation and counseling recommendations can usually help you cope with your pain enough to enable you to improve your function and quality of life.
