Patient Satisfaction with Salem Hospital

Why is this Important?

Patient Satisfaction is our patients’ perception of the quality of our care and the competence of those providing it.

It is an indicator of our patients’ future willingness to follow through with treatment recommendations because it is a reflection of the trust built between care provider and patient.

Patient Satisfaction is a measure of the hospitals reputation in our community and our region.

At Salem Hospital, we’re measuring our patient satisfaction to see how we compare to other hospitals in our region and throughout the country.

Our survey questions include topics such as pain management, patient involvement in treatment decisions, staff response to call buttons, and education provided about medications and how to care for ones self once they get home.
