Newborn photography program
This service is offered as a courtesy and you are never obligated to have your baby photographed or to place an order. Photographs are processed in the hospital.
If you wish to have your baby photographed at Salem Hospital, there are four easy steps:
The photo representative will make arrangements with you to photograph between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon any day of the year.
Preparing baby
Dress your baby for the photograph any way you wish. Photos are taken from the waist up.
If you have a special blanket from home, consider making it available as a backdrop to the photo. Otherwise, a complimentary paper background will be provided for each baby.
The photographer will be wearing a photo ID badge, and will come to your room to take the baby’s pictures.
Poses and WebNursery
The best poses will be selected and you will be given a proof sheet that contains your hospital and Baby ID security code number.
If you give your consent and complete the WebNursery section of your order form and initial it, your baby’s photos will be posted on the Web site www.our365.com (may take two to three days before posted).
The photos are accessible only by you and the people to whom you give the security codes.
You are never obligated to buy.
The photographer will explain the package sizes and prices to help you decide on a purchase for your family.
If you wish to place an order and receive your portraits in the hospital, you will need to pay at the time of the order. If you order by mail, the fastest way to receive your order is to include payment when you place your order.
It is good to know your baby’s photos are stored digitally for one year and you can order any time prior to your baby’s first birthday.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Our 365 customer service directly at 800-620-8479.
A gift for you
As a gift to you from Salem Hospital, every family having the baby's photo taken will receive a complimentary 8 x 10-inch Photo Birth Certificate as one way to say "Thank you for choosing Salem Hospital for the birth of your baby!"
