Pictures and Videos

Cameras are allowed. However, we have a few reminders:

• Videotaping is not allowed at Salem Hospital’s Family Birth Center during the delivery process or in the operating room if a cesarean section is necessary.
• Families and patients are welcome to take still pictures of their own delivery experience and of their family members.
• Staff must give their permission prior to being photographed by family members.
• Focus on taking pictures of mom and baby. Ask mom what is okay to photograph and what is not okay.
• All cameras should be battery operated and not plugged into the outlets, due to fire hazard.
