Mastitis

Mastitis is an infection of the soft tissue in the breast, and needs to be treated promptly.

Symptoms are:

1. Fever – temperature over 100° F (37.8 C).
2. Areas in the breast that are red, swollen, warm or tender.
3. A general overall feeling of achiness, similar to a “flu” feeling.
