Mom and Me Breastfeeding Support Group

West Valley Hospital is now providing a breastfeeding support group. Moms and babies are invited to attend. There is no charge to attend the support group.

A Lactation Specialist nurse, will be available to provide assistance and education about breastfeeding. This is an opportunity to talk with other moms about the joys and challenges of breastfeeding a baby.

The support group is primarily designed to help moms through the early months of breastfeeding. Weigh your baby on the scale provided. The nurse and group can help you plan how to prepare for continuing to breastfeed while returning to work.

We encourage you to leave your other children with family or friends and spend this time focusing on your baby’s feeding.
