Consider a “Get-Acquainted” Interview

To help you make a decision, some of the physicians offer new patients the opportunity to come in and meet with them prior to scheduling an actual appointment. 

This brief “get-acquainted” interview is a time for you to ask the doctor a couple of questions that are important to you about philosophy and practice. 

These interviews must be scheduled, usually last about ten minutes, and do not involve a medical examination or evaluation. 

They are rarely covered by insurance, but may be offered to you at no cost. Be sure and ask! 

Once you have selected the group practice and doctor who best meets your needs, call the office’s appointment desk and discuss scheduling such an appointment.
